Books have been stated on this matter, and the conflict and face-offs about where the "hot" slot machines are installed in the casino are still rampant - more than sixty years after slot machine games were first added to the gaming floor in the casinos.

The quintessential rule is that the better slots were located just inside the main doorway of the casino; so that casino fanatics walking by would see actual jackpot winners ... be intrigued enough to come inside ... play. Our assessment is that this is definitely no longer the case.
