Volumes have been said on this matter, and the disquiet and ruckus about where the "hot" slots are located in a casino are still raging - over sixty yrs after slot games were 1st placed in gambling dens.

The traditional rule is that the more favourable slot machine games were positioned just inside the main door of the casino; so that potential gamblers going by would see jackpot winners and be enthralled to come unto the gambling floor and play.
